This is my LP of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. This is a game I have done before on my channel, but for personal reasons, I decided to redo the project. This will be a 100% run of the game. Stay tuned for Yoshi and Mario's first big adventure (in terms of the Mario timeline, not actual game releases). This project is completed! Introduction Yoshi's Island is the sequel to Super Mario World. This game is set in the past, when Mario is a baby, and is dropped by a stork onto Yoshi's Island. The Yoshis get together and decide to return Mario to his parents, but Bowser interferes, and sends a huge range of enemies out into the many levels of the game. How do you beat level 6/4?, Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island Questions and answers, Gameboy Advance. To beat the boss you have to make all the tiles disappear.

Yoshi's Island 4 is the fourth level on Yoshi's Island in Super Mario World. It takes place on a lake and features a lot of platforms floating in the water as well as giant mushroom platforms. The water underneath carry the player backwards if fallen into. Overview[edit]A view of the level Yoshi's Island 4 from the map screen This level consists of a main area, an optional area, and a short screen with the Giant Gate. The Player is allowed 300 seconds on the Timer to complete. This level contains five Dragon Coins, and introduces Cheep Cheeps and Pokeys. The player starts on a mushroom platform with three Cheep Cheeps circling underneath, and, if the player has completed the Yellow Switch Palace, a yellow ! Block containing a Super Mushroom is also there. If the player can jump onto the mushroom platform directly above the starting point off-screen and then run across the platform from left to right, they can reveal a hidden 1-Up Mushroom. Also early in the level is a ? Block containing a Fire Flower. Continuing on, the player can notice small, floating platforms in the water that serve as the ground for most of the level. However, standing on these platforms too long cause them to sink into the water, so the player must keep moving. Eventually, Floating Mines roll down the current, which must be avoided. Near the middle of the level, a Warp Pipe takes the player to a waterless area where several Pokeys and a Message Block reside. The Message Block tells the player how to leave a level already cleared easily. After leaving this area, there is a Switch Block on a Rotating Block, and a Super Star in another Rotating Block. Pressing the Switch Block makes the line of coins to the right transform into Empty Blocks, and red Koopa Troopas fall from higher up Empty Blocks. The rest of the level consists of avoiding Floating Mines and Cheep Cheeps. At the end, the player can use the Message Block near the Giant Gate to gain extra points; this Message Block tells the player all about bonus points. Enemies[edit]

Hookbill the Koopa is an enlarged Koopa Troopa in the game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake. He is the boss of World 4 and resides atop the castle of that world.
History[edit]Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island[edit]When Blue Yoshi and Baby Mario reach the bridge on which Hookbill is fought, a fog envelops the area, dissipating on the other side. Blue Yoshi and Baby Mario then encounter a normal Koopa Troopa and Kamek, who casts his magic on the Koopa. The Koopa Troopa retreats into his shell, which grows. After the transformation is complete, Hookbill re-emerges from his shell. Walking on all fours, he creeps towards Blue Yoshi to attack him and Baby Mario. After walking on all fours for some time, he stands up and runs in Blue Yoshi's direction and lunges at the dinosaur. Blue Yoshi then must dodge the attack in order to avoid getting hurt. To defeat Hookbill, Blue Yoshi must first throw Yoshi Eggs at his head or arms. Jumping on Hookbill's shell or head will cause Hookbill to cough up eggs for Blue Yoshi to use in case his supply gets depleted. After four hits while on all fours or after three hits while on two legs, Hookbill will fall backwards and will be briefly vulnerable to attack. Blue Yoshi must jump on and then ground pound Hookbill's exposed stomach, delivering damage to Hookbill. After this (or after a certain amount of time passes), Hookbill will recover, retreat into his shell, and begin pounding the ground. He will then re-emerge, and the process will have to be repeated. Once his stomach has been pounded three times, Hookbill is defeated. His shell explodes and disappears, and Hookbill (with no shell) falls from the top of the castle. Tetris Attack[edit]Hookbill the Koopa reappears in Tetris Attack as one of Bowser's allies in the game and speaks with a stutter. Here, he takes Phoenix's place of the original Panel de Pon at Stage 9, and unlike other characters, Hookbill does not have a personal ally of his own. Yoshi's Island DS[edit]During the introduction to Yoshi's Island DS, Hookbill the Koopa makes an appearance alongside the other castle bosses in the game as the events of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island are recapped.
